Dr.-Ing. Manuel Bax

Manuel Bax has been working as a consultant at LBST since October 2023.

His responsibilities include techno-economic analyses in the fields of hydrogen, sustainability, and mobility.

Manuel Bax studied automotive engineering and mechanical engineering with a focus on powertrain technologies at HAW Hamburg and TU Braunschweig. At the Volkswagen AG he conducted his research on Diesel combustion processes for his PhD thesis with the title “Investigation of the Thermodynamic Influence of the Piston Bowl Geometry on a Passenger Car Diesel Engine”. He then worked on the development of hybrid and electric powertrains at Volkswagen and in the BMW environment.
