Feasibility study for the PtG project ElementEins
In 2019, Ludwig-Bölkow-Systemtechnik (LBST) carried out a comprehensive feasibility study for the large 100 MW power-to-gas project ElementEins. LBST provided information on the choice of location, approval requirements, components, system concept and potential mode of operation.
The main contribution of LBST consisted in the technical description of the system components including cost estimation and drafting and evaluation of the overall system concept with dynamic operating simulation. The study was commissioned by Gasunie Deutschland Transport Services GmbH, Thyssengas GmbH and TenneT TSO GmbH and was carried out in cooperation with ILF Beratende Ingenieure GmbH.
