Franz Lust

Franz Lust has been working as a project manager at Ludwig-Bölkow-Systemtechnik GmbH (LBST) since 2021.

His work focuses on techno-economic analyses in the fields of hydrogen, sustainability and mobility. His expertise lies in the analysis of H₂ ramp-up scenarios, the evaluation of international hydrogen strategies, the development of regional hydrogen concepts with the involvement of local stakeholders, and technology analyses of hydrogen-related technologies, including those in the mobility sector.

Franz Lust studied Industrial Engineering with an international focus at Pforzheim University (B.Sc.) and then Management & Technology with a focus on sustainability at the Technical University of Munich (M.Sc.). During his studies, Franz Lust gained several years of experience in the automotive and supplier industry. He speaks German (mother tongue) and English fluently, as well as Chinese, Spanish and French.
