WTAZ

The German Ministry of Transport has announced the 3 winning candidates. LBST is part of the team behind the Bavarian proposal for the German Hydrogen Technology and Innovation Centre, which has been selected as one of the top 3 candidates to proceed to the next stage. The final decision will now be made based on a feasibility study to be carried out in the coming months.

The team behind the proposal comprises Hynergy, TÜV SÜD, MR Plan, TesTneT, Ludwig-Bölkow-Systemtechnik, Technische Universität München, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and Helmholtz-Institut Erlangen-Nürnberg. The underlying concept includes facilities for research, development, testing, certification, and a competence centre for regulations, codes, and standards, aiming to advance German hydrogen technologies for a global market.

The German Hydrogen Technology and Innovation Centre will focus on the value chain relevant for the mobility sector, providing facilities to help in particular SMEs and startup companies getting their products ready for international customers.
